Private Adoption Cat - Maggie
First of all, please do not judge this cat by her not so lovely picture. Maggie is a spayed female orange tabby who is a sweet girl, she just was stuck in a cage at an adoption event and didn't much care for us pointing a camera at her on top of everything else! We'll get better pictures up soon.
Maggie came to a friend of ours who rescues animals in need a week or so ago. She has been spayed and received her shots and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Maggie is litter box trained and may have run away from her home where she may have been mistreated. Maggie will nip if she is tired of being petted, if she gets over stimulated from playing with toys or if she is scared. She is a playful cat and loves to play with toys on strings. She purrs a lot but doesn't like to be pick up, but will come and sit on your lap when she wants attention. We do not think she would be a good cat for a home with small children.
Maggie is a cat who needs a second chance with people that will give her time to settle in and learn to trust again. She's very easy to handle and deal with, but she needs to come to you on her own terms and in her own time. She's a beautiful cat who will be a wonderful companion in the right home.
If you think you might have a place in your home for Maggie, please call Lynda at 442-6703.
