Private Adoption Dog - Sabbath
Sabbath is a darling, petite little dog, an American Pit Bull Terrier cross, who is spayed, house trained (though if you leave her alone too long in the house or are not watching when she goes to the door to ask to go out, she may have an accident), great with children, good with cats but will play chase with them if they run and good with other dogs, though she is afraid of them at first meeting and needs a little time to feel safe with a new dog.. Sabbath is very loving and playful. Being traumatized at six months of age, she is very afraid of other dogs and men at first meeting. You must be patient with her and she will come around. She fetches, sits, dances and will give you a high five. She is obsessed with balls and will pop them then shakes and plays with them. She's great with my grandkids and all kids and seeks you out to receive affection. She's a real cuddler and likes to be close to her people. Sabbath has no aggressiveness whatsoever. She loves to go for walks and really enjoys riding in the car. She's a great dog who needs a great home. To arrange to meet Sabbath, please call Diana or William at 445-0105. ---- April 2008 - Note from the webmaster: I met this dog last weekend at the adoption event at Pierson's Building Center and she seemed like a very sweet little dog. She wasn't afraid of me in the slightest and I'm a man, and in fact she came right over and wanted to be friends. She likes treats and is just a really, really nice, mellow girl. She also didn't seem to be very scared or stressed by the hubbub of the adoption event. Additionally, I think she's a great size for a lot of people because she's small enough to not be a "large dog" but she's also just big enough to not be a "small dog" either. She seems like a great pet and somebody will be really lucky to adopt her.
