How You Can Help Friends for Life
There are many ways to be a part of the good work Friends for Life is doing in our community. Volunteers are always needed and you can find out all about opportunities for volunteering by taking the Volunteer Opportunities link.
Many people just don't have the time to commit to volunteering on a regular basis and they help by supporting our work in a variety of ways. Here's a few:
Our "Wish List"
Below you will find a listing of things that we need for our various programs. If you have gently used items on this list, we would be very grateful to receive them, or if you'd like to donate new items, we'd be equally grateful!
For the FFL Office:
Postage Stamps
For the Cat Foster Program:
Cat beds - new or gently used
Cat Litter Boxes - new or gently used
Any type of cat litter
Cat Toys
Cat Collars - the ones that breakaway
Cat Carriers
Scratching Posts
Make a Monetary Donation
We are funded primarily by private donations. Any amount that you can give is greatly appreciated and you can be sure that we will put it to good work saving the lives of animals in Humboldt County. As we are 100 percent volunteer run, every penny you donate goes to the programs that help dogs and cats in our community. Click on the link below to donate.
Recycle and help our furry friends!
You can now recycle your CRV cans and bottles and donate the money to Friends for Life! Take your recyclables to Redwood Acres Recycling Center at 3750 Harris Street in Eureka (next to the batting cages). They are open Thurs-Mon from 9-5 (closed Tues and Wed), and will accept your CRV redemption cash as a donation to Friends for Life Animal Rescue. CRV containers only...
Friends For Life Animal Rescue is a California nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
